Cabinet NG (CNG), provider of document management and workflow software, today announced a partnership with DataNet Solutions, provider of electronic medical records for the medical clinic community. DataNet’s software provides free and non-profit medical clinics (who serve uninsured and underinsured patients) as well as other medical practices, with a fresh and highly efficient approach for managing all key aspects of the clinic. CNG’s Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Program enables industry focused solutions to be powered by its document management and workflow technologies. As a result, DataNet’s MedServices software now offers advanced patient chart management and other document management and workflow capabilities.
DataNet’s leading MedServices software is the only solution that satisfies the diverse needs of non-profit clinics from a single interface. Functions supported within MedServices include: Patient Assistance Program (PAP), Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Scheduling, Donor /Volunteer Tracking, Prescription/Dispensary, Inventory Control and Dental. “We are committed to providing the most efficient and cost effective EMR solutions available to the non-profit and for profit medical practices,” said Keith Weigand, Founder and President of DataNet Solutions. “Partnering with CNG allows us to focus on the core medical aspects of our software, while CNG-SAFE, an award winning document management and workflow technology, addresses the patient records aspect of our solution.”
DataNet engineers integrated the MedServices product using the CNG-SAFE Application Program Interface (API), giving users a seamless experience when managing patient, volunteer and donor records. Security is strictly enforced and document workflows help improve efficiency in the practice. CNG-SAFE integrates directly with the Patient, Donor and Volunteer modules and also serves as a standalone document management module within MedServices. As a result, the entire clinic can go paperless.
“This is a perfect example of how two company’s software solutions can complement each other and address the broader needs of a particular vertical industry,” said James True, VP of Business Development of CNG. “We developed our ISV program to help industry specific software products apply the efficiencies of electronic document management and workflow without defocusing their roadmap for core product development.”
