From the Allscripts "Go" website: "The Stimulus incentives are now in place, our solutions are guaranteed to be certified, and a clear path has been set by thousands of physicians." This claim seems shaky at best, disingenuous to say the least, and bald marketing misinformation at the worst. February's Policy Committee meetings show the stimulus incentives plans are anything but solid and certain, and no one can rightly say they are "guaranteed to be certified" (I'm assuming this is based on CCHIT's AARA readiness program?) since we've only just gotten a rule today that outlines how to get certified. The physician testimony is probably accurate, as far as how to implement an Allscripts system. But do these physicians understand all the requirements of meaningful use? I guess we'll see come 2011.
