PHR Vendor NoMoreClipboard Forms New Partnership with EHR Vendor Sevocity

Personal health record vendor NoMoreClipboard.com has entered into a strategic partnership with Sevocity, a vendor of affordable, certified, easy to use electronic health record systems, to offer Sevocity clients a branded patient portal offering.

Under the partnership, NoMoreClipboard practice-branded patient portals will be integrated with Sevocity EHR systems, enabling physician practices and patients to exchange electronic health information that will help improve communication and care coordination.

“Sevocity currently includes a patient portal for secure messaging. However, we see interest growing among physicians to provide their patients with a Personal Health Record (PHR) and more comprehensive portal features. To proactively respond to our customers we decided to partner with a leading company this is focused on this important area,” said Elaine Mendoza, president and CEO of Sevocity. “After evaluating a variety of PHR vendors, we chose NoMoreClipboard.com as our PHR partner because of its proven interoperability capabilities, ability to meet meaningful use criteria, commitment to patient privacy and willingness to brand its solution to match the workflow needs of our clients.”

The NoMoreClipboard.com PHR patient portal was designed to help physicians meet ARRA meaningful use criteria. It allows patients and physicians to share demographic and clinical information, as well as send and receive secure messages relating to appointments, medication refills and billing and clinical questions. NoMoreClipboard has also demonstrated standards-based interoperability with most major EMR vendors at IHE Connectathon and Interoperability Showcase events.

“Like Sevocity, we are eager to help physicians implement electronic health record systems so they can realize the benefits of healthcare information technology and qualify for ARRA stimulus funds,” said Jeff Donnell, NoMoreClipboard chief marketing officer. “Unlike many EHR vendors offering tethered patient portals that only provide a patient view into an EHR, Sevocity supports our belief that a personal health record should be portable. Our partnership enables Sevocity clients to sponsor a PHR that integrates with their EHR solution while giving patients the ability to manage their health information.”

NoMoreClipboard has already deployed branded patient portals for several Sevocity clients, and the two organizations are tightly integrating their respective PHR and EHR offerings to facilitate seamless, standards-based data exchange.
