According to a story posted today on Cardiovascular Business 55% percent of cardiologists who responded to an American College of Cardiology (ACC) survey are either already participating in or plan to participate in the CHS Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Incentive Program. Of those 34% have registered so far, with the balance planning on registering. This according to a survey published in the College’s Cardiology magazine.
Over half of the Cardiologists who have registered so far have met the requirements for the programs and have already attested to doing so and 12% of those that have attested have received incentive payments.
According to the survey, cardiologists who completed the survey indicated that their practice administrator handled registering the practice’s eligible professionals, preparing the report and completing the report.
