MRO Corp., a provider of disclosure management applications and services for healthcare organizations, announced today that ROI Online™ 2.1.1, is 2011/2012 compliant and was certified as an EHR Module on September 22, 2011 by the Certification Commission for Health Information Technology, an ONC-ATCB, in accordance with the applicable hospital certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services. The 2011/2012 criteria support the Stage 1 meaningful use measures required to qualify eligible providers and hospitals for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
“Continuing to offer our customers leading disclosure management solutions is not only about technological enhancements,” says Stephen Hynes, president, MRO Corp. “When partnering with MRO, our clients recognize our commitment to helping them provide efficient and effective care, meet the challenges of our ever-changing industry, achieve meaningful use, and comply with the complex legislative and regulatory requirements they face daily. Not only have we certified our updated version 2.1.1 of ROI Online in the standard EHR Module security criteria, we continue to achieve certifications in additional core criteria measures applicable to our system—something that other major release-of-information companies have not yet done.”
The ONC-ATCB 2011/2012 certification program tests and certifies that Complete EHRs meet all of the 2011/2012 criteria and EHR Modules meet one or more – but not all – of the criteria approved by the Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) for either eligible provider or hospital technology.
ROI Online 2.1.1’s certification number is CC-1112-505110-2. ONC-ATCB 2011/2012 certification conferred by CCHIT does not represent an endorsement of the certified EHR technology by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services nor does it guarantee the receipt of incentive payments.
ROI Online 2.1.1 meets the following certification criteria: Accounting of Disclosures, Electronic Copy of Health Information, Electronic Copy of Discharge Instructions, Access Control, Automatic Log-Off, Audit Log, Integrity, Authentication, General Encryption and Encryption when Exchanging Clinical Information.
