eGistics, Inc., a provider of cloud-based document management solutions, has announced the availability of eGistics CloudDocs 5.0Electronic Document Management System, and the exciting new DocAudit feature, designed to identify missing or expiring documents and help with the challenges of compliance.
eGistics CloudDocs 5.0 provides several new features that make the capture and management of documents faster and easier. But the highlight of the new release is Document Audit (DocAudit), which is designed to quickly and easily identify incomplete document sets. DocAudit also enables users to set an expiration or “good until” period in days, months or years so that users can identify documents that need to be replaced or updated, and can proactively manage the process.
“Business users struggle to keep track of documentation requirements and their renewal or retention policies,” said eGistics Senior Vice President of Product Development Amer Khan. “We designed DocAudit to help users manage their document compliance requirements by identifying missing or expiring documents from a set. By law, specific documents must be collected and kept for employee records, loan packets, patient records, etc. DocAudit helps CloudDocs users manage those requirements.”
CloudDocs addresses the document management needs of virtually any business or organization. It provides a system of record for important documents, and enables users to organize documents according to how a company operates or is structured, whether by department, function, location, region or division.
As a cloud based application CloudDocs can be deployed quickly, and requires no software downloads.
