Today’s AHIMA convention schedule kicks off at 1:30 with a session led by Joy Behar, a Co-Host of the ABC televisions, the View. Joy’s presentation is titled “Innovation, Inspiration, Change.” The presentation is described as follows:
When Joy Behar turned 40, she got a divorce, got fired and had a near-death experience. These events turned her around, and she began to focus on her career and life in a new way. Join us as Joy shares her experiences and insights with the audience with the humor and wit that have contributed to making her a true success story. Her message “it’s never too late to start,” will especially resonate with those who feel stuck and don’t know what to do next.
From 2:15 – 3:30 there will be Board Presentations for Harnessing the Power of Technology to Compete in the 21st Century. That will be followed by a presentation by Aneesh Chopra, a Technology though leader and former US Chief Technology Officer.
Closing remarks will follow Mr. Chopra’s presentation.
The Exhibit hall will be open early today with hours running from 9:00 – 12:00. These exhibitors are paying a small fortune to attend and they’d love to meet you. Consider checking it out if you’re at all interested in seeing what’s new in the industry.
