Practice Fusion Announces Agenda for Connect 2012

Practice Fusion has released the agenda today for its annual user conference, Connect 2012: Fast Forward. This year’s event will highlight the company’s vision for the future of health, with feature presentations from industry leaders, a firsthand glimpse into the company’s product launch roadmap over the coming year, and in-depth training opportunities for doctors adopting health technology.

This year’s attendees can pick their choice of training sessions from two breakout themes: Mastering Practice Fusion will quickly make users experts in the free EMR, while Beyond the Basics will introduce providers to powerful new digital resources for their practices, including online marketing tools and ChartShare, a set of physician networking features included in Practice Fusion’s EMR.

The conference will also feature a special message from Dr. Mehmet Oz of “The Dr. Oz Show” about using technology to transform patient health, as well as a presentation from Google Health Head of Industry Lisa Duncan and a “Future of Health IT” panel featuring executives from Practice Fusion, Prior Knowledge, Ringadoc and 100Plus–the last two of which are currently incubating with Practice Fusion.

“Connect is our time to celebrate our successes and our phenomenal, continuing growth,” said Ryan Howard, CEO of Practice Fusion. “But it’s also an opportunity to put our future roadmap in perspective. Our dedicated, engaged user base gives us invaluable insights into what excites them about our product, and we in turn can show them directly how we plan to keep helping them save lives and change medicine for the better.”

Connect 2012: Fast Forward will take place on Nov. 8 at Fort Mason in San Francisco, Calif. To view the full agenda and to reserve your spot before registration closes, please visit practicefusion.com/connect.
