Surely you’ve heard of Google Plus by now and you may even have it on your short list of things to check out. The HIT user population is growing quickly on G+, having gone from practically nothing just a week ago to a good sized group of familiar names and faces today. If you’re thinking about joining now may be the time.
There still isn’t a lot of content posting going on but people are marking their territory by by setting up accounts. I’ve already created an HIT circle for my own use and I’m adding people to it as quickly as I can find them. If you’re already in G+ and I’ve missed you please let me know.
That address is actually a Google + short domain name which is much nicer than the default address you’ll wind up with using Google +. If you’d like to set one up for yourself you can do it in a couple of minutes at http://gplus.to/. When setting your account up it will ask you for your Google + ID which is the long string of numbers you’ll see in the address bar when you’re logged into your profile page.
Need help with any of this? Just leave your questions in the comments and I’ll help if I can. The faster we build the HIT community in Google + the better. You can also email me questions at steve at emrdailynews.com.
