The ONC-ATCB certification allows doctors using the Avazen Health system to achieve ‘Meaningful Use’ requirements and qualify for $44,000 in government incentives.
By achieving this certification, Avazen EHR claims to becomes one of the first free EHRs based on the Web 2.0 platform to be certified for Meaningful Use. The company’s Web 2.0 platform allows physicians to use any device they choose to access the system, ranging from traditional PCs to the iPad and Android based tablets. It also means that the application will not only run but also behave in a consistent manner on all platforms. Physicians will have to use the system for 90 days to qualify for government incentives.
