MedicsDocAssistant Version 7.0 from Advanced Data Systems (ADS) has achieved 2014 Edition Complete EHR Ambulatory ONC Health IT Certification, which designates that the software is capable of supporting healthcare providers with Stage 1 and Stage 2 meaningful use measures. MedicsDocAssistant Version 7 was certified by ICSA Labs, an Office of the National Coordinator-Authorized Certification Body.
“We are extremely proud that our MedicsDocAssistant has achieved Meaningful Use Stage 2 compliance as a complete EHR,” said David Barzillai, President of ADS. “This accomplishment reconfirms our commitment to provide our clients with the tools to take advantage of Stage 2 incentives for certified EHR use. We look forward to working with our family of MedicsDocAssistant clients as we move towards Stage 2 and beyond, and with keeping our Medics product line on the forefront of clients’ needs in an evolving era of healthcare IT.”
ICSA Labs, an independent division of Verizon, offers vendor-neutral testing and certification. 2014 Edition ONC Health IT Certification is awarded to those technologies that are capable of meeting the more rigorous testing criteria developed to support providers and hospitals with Stage 2 meaningful use, which focuses on the capability of health IT to deliver higher quality patient care and exchange clinical information securely.
