SRS has announced that its EHR has received certification as a 2014 Edition Complete EHR by the Drummond Group, an Office of the National Coordinator Authorized Certification Body, under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. The SRS EHR is now certified for use by physicians to demonstrate meaningful use Stage 2 (and Stage 1) to qualify for EHR incentives beginning in 2014.
“The government set an extremely high bar for EHR products and for physicians in this second phase of the EHR incentive program, and we are proud to be among the small group of companies that have achieved certification for 2014 and Stage 2,” says Evan Steele, CEO of SRS. “We accomplished this with the same unwavering commitment to usability and physician efficiency that we brought to Stage 1—a focus that enabled over 2,000 of our physicians to demonstrate meaningful use and earn incentives without any adverse impact on their productivity.”
“This certification validates the unique approach to EHR design and data capture that characterizes the SRS EHR and that has resulted in superior levels of physician satisfaction. We look forward to leveraging our industry-leading data and interoperability platform in ways that will not only comply with the government’s demands, but also give physicians the tools they need to bring healthcare delivery to the next level of quality and efficiency.”
This Complete EHR certification is 2014 Edition compliant and has been certified by Drummond Group Inc., an ONC-ACB in accordance with the applicable certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
